Holiday Hullabaloo Trivia Night at State FFA Convention

As we celebrate all of your chapter’s accomplishments at the Illinois State FFA Convention, we want to keep the celebration going with Holiday Hullabaloo Trivia Night!  Whether it’s 4th of July, Thanksgiving or National Pizza Day, your chapter is going to want to be part of this trivia night.  Teams can choose one holiday or try to celebrate them all at this exclusive event! Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and the best-dressed/decorated table.

Details:

  • Location: President Abraham Lincoln Hotel

  • Doors open at 5:30 to begin decorating tables, pizzas will be available at 6:00pm, and trivia will start promptly at 6:30 pm.   We plan to wrap up around 9:00 pm.

  • Registration can be completed by Ag Teachers through Judging Card.  Note that the registration from this event is separate from convention registration.  Make sure to register quickly as we have a limited number of tables for this event. Registration will close May 20th, in order to submit food orders.

  • Registration cost is $65/table.   Each table will be its own team and can have up to 10 team members.  Chapters can register for more than one table if they have more than 10 students wanting to participate.  Feel free to invite students from other chapters to help you fill your tables if you don’t have 10 students participating. We are not planning to coordinate half tables this year, but highly encourage teachers to team up and mix their students on teams.

  • We will be at the President Abraham Lincoln again this year and will be required to do catering through them.  Costs are $25 for a large one-topping pizza, chapters can order as many pizzas as they would like.  This is optional, schools can get dinner before the event.  No outside food/drink will be allowed in per the venue rules. Lemonade & water stations will be available for all.

  • Teams are encouraged to decorate their table using our theme and can dress up as well.   Prizes will be awarded to the best table.  Please make sure all decorations/costumes/themes are convention-appropriate.  For more information on rules and additional activities, please check out this document!
