Southeastern High School, located in Augusta, Illinois (Hancock County, Section 11), has posted a vacancy for a full-time Agriculture Teacher/FFA Advisor (2nd Position) for the 2026–2027 school year.

Teaching duties will be based on program needs and candidate strengths, with opportunities to teach a variety of agriculture courses. The selected candidate will also serve as an FFA Advisor, working collaboratively with the current agriculture teacher to support an active FFA chapter and develop strong SAE programs. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members.

The district participates in the Three Circles Grant.

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS)

Salary and Benefits:

Salary and benefits are provided per district agreement. The 2025–2026 base salary begins at no less than $42,411 for certified staff.
