Vacancy

North Boone High School, located in Section 6, has a vacancy for a full-time Ag teacher/FFA Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. The newly hired teacher will join current teacher and FFA Advisor Mrs. Cindy Kastning.

Current courses offered through the program include Introduction to Agriculture, Ag Sales and Marketing, Ag Business, Ag Biotechnology, Environmental Science, and Ag Science. The program hopes to expand offerings to include courses such as Ag Mechanics, Ag Construction, Ag Engineering, and SAE in the future. This expansion would include facilities such as an agricultural mechanics shop and a construction/woods shop, and we anticipate this individual playing an active role in bringing these visions to fruition.

North Boone has a very active and engaged FFA Chapter as well as strong community support. The school will be participating in the Three Circle grant program in the coming year to provide both teachers with extended contracts.
