From Classroom to Field: Natural Resources & Outdoor Learning for Ag Educators

Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on bringing natural resources and outdoor learning into your ag classroom.

Date: July 20
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: Pere Marquette State Park
Lunch provided | Limited to 20 participants

This isn’t a sit-and-get. You’ll leave with ready-to-use materials, new partnership ideas, and practical ways to boost student engagement through outdoor, place-based learning.

You’ll:

  • Explore ways to integrate natural resource content into ag classes

  • Participate in hands-on, classroom-ready activities

  • Learn about funding opportunities for field experiences

  • Connect with partners like Extension, IDNR, and more

  • Hear real examples of school partnerships and service learning

  • Take part in an outdoor recreation experience

Dress for the outdoors... You may get a little dirty (or wet)!
