Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL is seeking an Agriculture Access & Engagement Coordinator to support recruitment, engagement, and retention efforts within its agriculture programs.
This position is student-focused and centered on building strong relationships with prospective and current students, parents, and high school partners, including counselors and educators. The coordinator will help guide students from initial interest through enrollment and persistence by supporting admissions, advising, outreach, and marketing initiatives. This role is a great fit for someone passionate about agriculture and helping students find their path in AFNR careers.
Position Details:
Full-time or part-time: Full-time
12-month position
Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility required based on events, travel, and seasonal needs
Salary:
Starting salary is expected to be between $51,911 and $60,250, based on education, training, experience, and skills, with a strong benefits package
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree
Experience in student recruitment, marketing, academic advising, or community outreach
Experience organizing events, working with students and families, representing organizations at conferences, and building community partnerships
Agriculture industry certifications
