Tri-City High School, located in Section 14, is seeking a High School Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities include teaching high school agriculture courses, one Career Exploration class, and one junior high exploratory agriculture section (grades 6–8). The position also includes leading and managing an active FFA chapter, supporting student leadership development, supervising SAE projects, and coordinating participation in FFA events, CDEs/LDEs, and conferences.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Education (or related field) and a valid Illinois teaching license. Strong agricultural content knowledge, FFA experience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and the community are essential.
Salary is based on the collective bargaining agreement, with a base of $46,301.86 (B.S., Step 0, includes TRS). Tri City also participates in the Three Circles Grant.
