Official FFA Dress
Headed to the 98th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention? Then it’s time to show up looking your BEST. That means one thing: proper Official FFA Dress.
Need a quick refresher? Click here to check out what “official” really looks like.
Teachers, we see you. Maybe you’re bracing for that conversation: the skirt that’s a little too short… the “I only wear jeans”… the blank stares when you mention dress guidelines.
Good news: you don’t have to carry that alone anymore.
FEAR NOT. Simply have your students click the Official Dress link and let it do the talking. Want to gently reinforce appropriate skirt length? It’s in there. (And yes—if there’s a red X… it’s a no. And anything shorter than that? Also a no.)
Shoes? Encourage dress shoes, heels, or flats—but above all, they must be comfortable and worn at all times. No exceptions—no wandering barefoot, no matter how much those feet hurt. Shoes are a MUST.
And one more friendly reminder: chairs are your friend. Floors are not. Students found sitting on the floor will be kindly (but confidently) redirected.
As Illinois FFA State President Natalie Pratt says:
“ To truly sparkle at State Convention, don’t forget to pack proper Official Dress, think polished, confident, and a little bit iconic.”
