These ten candidates are eligible to be elected as one of the Illinois FFA Major State Officer positions of President, Vice President, Reporter, Secretary, Treasurer, or Sentinel at the 98th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Bank of Springfield Center in Springfield, IL beginning at 7:30 a.m.
NO ZOOM Business Session
REMINDER, there is NO Zoom Business Session in May this year. We are having our Business Session in person at the conclusion of the 1st General Session that begins at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
REMINDER: The Business Session on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 will have a consent agenda to approve degrees and committee reports.
Again this year - Using ElectionBuddy on mobile devices for Elections
Every chapter will receive a paper in their convention registration folder with two codes for ElectionBuddy delegate voting during the Elections Session. Advisors, please be sure to share these codes with your delegates so that when they are on the delegate floor, they have the instructions to get logged in and vote via ElectionBuddy. We will only be using these codes during the Elections Session this year (on Thursday). The Business Session on Tuesday will be handled with voice votes.
For chapters that missed the pre-registration deadline for convention, this paper will still be available with delegate codes, but your delegates will not receive the free convention shirt

Section Presidents and Acting Section Presidents will be holding up Section Number Signs on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 9, 2026, for the Business Session and again on Thursday morning of the Elections Session on June 11, 2026, to help delegates find their sections for seating.
