Havana High School in Section 12 is seeking an Agriculture Teacher and Co-FFA Advisor to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Havana High School offers an established agricultural education program with outstanding support from administration, an engaged FFA Alumni organization, and a community that values agricultural education. Students benefit from agriculture classrooms, two large agricultural mechanics shops, an alumni-owned test plot adjacent to the school, and a one-to-one Chromebook initiative with modern instructional technology. Courses taught will be based on the strengths and certifications of the chosen candidate.

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Agriculture Education endorsement or

  • Illinois Career and Technical Education (CTE) License, qualifying you to teach Agriculture
