Registration is officially open through Judging Card for SIUs Invitational Horse Judging!

Listed below is the information for the contest:

Date- Friday, October 2nd, 2026

Early-bird Registration Deadline- Friday, September 25th, 2026

Registration Deadline- Wednesday, September 30th, 2026

Location- DuQuoin State Fairgrounds- Outdoor Cowboy Arena (Turn off of Route 51 at Gate 3. You will run directly into the facility.)

Cost- Early: $7/student    Late: $8/student

Registration on Contest Day- 8:00am - 9:00am

Contest Start- 9:00 am

Teams will consist of 4 members, with the top 3 scores counting toward the team score. 

Each school is limited to one varsity and one junior varsity team. You may bring as many practice teams/individuals as you like, and they will be scored as individuals. 

To have an accurate record of attendees, we ask that all registration be done prior to the event. We ask that all teams register by Wednesday, September 30th before registration closes. 

Please note that your registration will not be completed until the registration fee is received. The registration is $7 per contestant for early registration and $8 per contestant for late registration. Registration fees can be paid to Judging Card through the registration link above. 

Note: We will NOT be accepting payment through us on contest day or before for this specific contest. We ask that everything goes through Judging Card!

There will be no reasons classes.

A follow-up email will be sent closer to the contest containing the classes and reminders of the contest.
