Southwestern Illinois College  (District 5)  - Agriculture Business Management Program Coordinator
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track position of Coordinator/Instructor for the Agriculture Business Management Program. This program is new and under development.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the successful applicant will serve as an instructor and program coordinator for the new Agriculture Business Management program. As coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for the organization, administration, review, development, and overall effectiveness of the program to include staffing, quality assessment, accreditation, budget, admission policies and more. As an instructor, the incumbent will develop, teach and maintain courses in the program, in both traditional and
online environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture area; Master’s degree in related field preferred.
2. Minimum of three (3) years agriculture professional experience.
3. Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers, applicable software, and Internet required.
4. Prior teaching, technical training and curriculum development experience highly desirable.

SALARY: This is a nine-month coordinator/teaching position with the salary determined by placement on the salary schedule. For example, the starting salary at Step 3 for the 2023-2024 Academic Year is $50,441 for Bachelor’s Degree / $53,531 with a Master’s Degree. Additional compensation will be provided for required summer coordination and teaching duties. Overload teaching assignments may also be available, which may increase the annual compensation. The College offers a comprehensive flexible benefit program.

WORK LOCATION: 
Belleville Campus with district-wide responsibilities. Driving may be required to other campus locations and sites throughout the metropolitan area.
