Thank you for your patience as we developed a new FFA membership management system. Our system is going to significantly increase the efficiency of the Illinois FFA Center staff time and should allow for you to spend less time managing membership also. FFA membership is now ready to submit to State.
FFA membership system is now operational. The FFA Member Submission Form that you used in the past will no longer be used. When you submit FFA members for processing, the system will ask you to enter the name and email of your authorized administrator. They will receive an email with a copy of your invoice, and they will just need to click the link and enter their name to formally approve your membership (this step replaces the previous process of printing a form, typing the number of members, getting administration signature, and mailing it to the state office.
If you are NOT an affiliate chapter and would like to be for this year, please follow these steps:

On the IL AgEd dashboard, select Login to FFA.org

Top of page- Dashboard- choose Teacher

Select Manage Chapter Profile

Select Program/Chapter Data on left

Select Dues/Fees

Next to Affiliate Chapter, choose “affiliation request” and check the box.

Email Tammy Yard that you wish to be affiliated this year. DO NOT submit FFA membership through the website BEFORE you communicate with Tammy if you wish to be affiliated this year.
Affiliate chapters: your FFA membership dues amount is calculated (per National policy) based on enrollment/membership last year. You should have already received an email with two invoices- one for your affiliation fee and one is your $10 district fee. Within the next couple of days your Principal will receive an email asking them to approve your affiliation membership submission. If you did not receive an invoice by email, or cannot find it, click Account Balances and click State Balance. This administrator process will only happen once this year, even if you add additional students to your roster. As affiliate chapters submit their actual student membership to state, the system will still create an invoice each time they submit a batch of students. However, the invoice will be notated as an Affiliate Chapter submission and the amount will be for $0.00. This is just a log for us to see when chapters submit their actual students and how many are submitted in each batch. The very first billing invoice is the only actual charged invoice that affiliate chapters will receive each year for membership.
Non-Affiliate chapters: Each time you submit FFA membership batches, you will be asked to enter an administrator name and email. They will be required to click the link, review the assurances, and affix their name as approval before Illinois FFA submits your students to National FFA.
Instructions for submitting FFA membership to State

Click FFA Membership.

On the right side of the screen, click the boxes for all students you wish to submit to State.

At the top of the list, choose “Submit Pending Membership”

Enter your authorized administrator name and email.
Note: ONLY CLICK THE SUBMIT BUTTON ONCE. It does not appear that you will get a notice that the membership request was submitted- it just takes you back to the page allowing you to submit your student names. If you click “send notice to administration” button more than once, you’ll receive multiple invoices for membership.
The left side of your FFA Membership submitted members page should show all students you have submitted for membership now.
To view your membership invoice, choose Account Balances, then click State FFA Balance.
