March Local Collection Drive Update

The Foundation update as of today, Monday, March 15, 2021.  

• Local Collection Drive- $294,448.41

• State at Large - $27,135.40

• Sponsorship - $159,800

As we are wrapping up the 2020-2021 Local Collection Drive, a concerning trend among transmittals has been apparent with over 50% of chapters reducing their giving to the Foundation this year. In 2018-2019, the Local Collection Drive brought in $328,986. In 2019-2020, the Local Collection Drive brought in $320,433. As noted above, the 2020-2021 Local Collection Drive has only brought in $294,448.41 so far. To ensure that all local donations are accounted for, we ask that you take the time to login to your chapter's newly reactivated Foundation profile (here - your login information will be shared in a separate email). If you have any questions or concerns about what is recorded for your chapter's Local Collection Drive, please contact Riley Duckworth, rduckworth@illinoisffa.org. 

We do understand the impact of the pandemic over the past year, but want to make sure we have a solid handle on revenue projections to budget accordingly. Without these Foundation funds subsidizing each organization budget, boards may have to consider cuts to programming or increases in fees in the coming years to compensate. We greatly appreciate your continued support of the Foundation at whatever level you are able! • To request donor recognition certificates, visit https://forms.gle/2SLWNx2tBatHveTN7 and fill out the 2020-2021 certificate request form. The certificate request form must be submitted at least 2-3 weeks prior to the date the certificates will be distributed by the FFA Chapter.

• Hopper Funds must be used by July 30th, 2021.
