The Wesclin High School in Trenton of Section 22 and Clinton county is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2021-22 school year. The newly hired individual will be replacing Mr. Matt Fisher as he retires after a very successful teaching career. Trenton is located 30 minutes just east of downtown St. Louis.
Facilities include a new classroom, ag mechanics facility, and 30x60 greenhouse. Within the affiliated FFA chapter, 89 students are currently enrolled in agriculture courses. Current courses offered, but are adaptable to the strengths of the hired individual, include: Ag Business, Ag Mechanics, Ag Metal Fabrication, Horticulture Science and Introduction to the Agricultural Industry.
Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. The position will include a FFA stipend and/or extended contract.
