I am excited to announce that Dr. Amy Leman has agreed to join our Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications team as a tenure-track Assistant Professor here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign!  Dr. Leman is currently an extension specialist here – focused on youth development, 4-H evaluation, and staff development – working out of the Champaign County office.  She has occupied steadily larger roles in extension at Illinois for the past 17 years, and along the way has earned an MPA and PhD in Public Administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield.  She also is a current member of the state-wide Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education (ICAE). Here in ALEC, she will continue her research on youth development and teach courses on program planning and evaluation, as well as the scholarship of teaching and learning, joining our team full-time this February 2020.  We are very excited to have her!  She can be reached at bunselme@illinois.edu if you would like to connect with her.
