  Professional Agriculture Student(PAS) Chapter Grant - Due Feb 7th

FY20 FCAE Professional Agriculture Student(PAS) Chapter Grant  as attached.

Purpose
Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education (FCAE), a project of the Illinois State Board of Education and part of the Agricultural Education Line Item, will provide National PAS Conference Grants for registration and lodging of up to $1000 per PAS Chapter.  Implementation of this mini-grant is contingent upon the availability of funds. 

Eligibility
PAS chapters in good standing with state and national dues paid. 

Information
*Printed application(tabs 1-4) must be postmarked by February 7, 2020, and sent to:             
FCAE, 3358 Big Pine Trail, Champaign, IL 61822.  Application can be emailed though Tab 1 with original signatures is required in the US mail.
*All projects must be completed and a final report received by May 15, 2020.
*Selected grant recipients will be notified by February 14, 2020.
*If assistance is needed, contact the FCAE main office (217) 893-0091 - ddittmar@ilaged.org

Funding
If selected as a grant recipient, payment will be awarded after the final report is received.

Application Components and Evaluation
Provide the following information in the order as listed:
Part 1 - Applicant Information(10%)
Part 2 – Itinerary(30%) – What do you want to accomplish?
Part 3 – Impact(30%) – How will this project make an impact on your students and/or program?
Part 4 – Budget(30%) – Indicate expenses (registration and hotel expenses only)

Final Report - see tab
A final report is required by May 15, 2020, consisting of:  invoices, narrative with high school student names and grade level. 
PAS students/ag faculty must provide a total of 5 presentations at 3 or more high schools within the college district promoting the agriculture teaching profession. A presentation would consist of a 45 minute minimum ag class period with multiple presentations at each high school for a minimum of 5 total presentations at a minimum of 3 different high schools.   View TeachAg outline tab.
