New Teaching Vacancies: Naperville Central High School, McHenry County College
Naperville Central High School is seeking an Agriculture/Horticulture teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.
Courses to be taught next year include Plant Science, Food Science, and Companion Animal Science 1 for the fall semester, and Companion Animal Science 1, Companion Animal Science 2, and Floral & Landscape Design in the spring semester.
BA+0 starts at $50,849.
Facilities include two connected classroom spaces, lean to greenhouse for Plant Science, garden area outside of classroom for landscaping, and around a dozen small companion animals. Use of culinary classroom kitchens will also be used for Food Science. CASE curriculum for Plant and Food Science is used, and district curriculum is already set up for all courses. FFA membership is small but active, and does receive a stipend.

McHenry County College: Adjunct instructor, Plant Science & Landscape Design
McHenry County College, located in Northwest suburban Crystal Lake, is seeking two adjunct instructors to join their growing program. Courses to be taught in Fall 2022 Semester include Plant Science and Landscape Design.
Plant Science is scheduled to meet Tuesdays from 1-3:50 for lecture and Thursday from 1-3:50 for lab.
Landscape Design is scheduled to meet Tuesdays from 6-8pm for lecture and Thursday from 1-3:50 for lab.
