Vacancy- Clinton High School Ag Teacher/FFA Advisor


Clinton High School is seeking a full-time agriculture teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.  Clinton is located in DeWitt County, 30 minutes north of Decatur and 30 minutes south of Bloomington in Section 16.  The district is looking for a candidate that is hardworking, energetic and has the ability to connect well with students.  Compensation is based on the district contract and includes a stipend for FFA. Clinton also participates in the 3 Circle Grant. 


Potential courses to be taught include: Intro to Ag, Basic Horticulture, Greenhouse Production, Wildlife Management, Ag Business Operation/Management, Electrical Wiring, Pre-Vet Science, Biological Science Applications in Ag - Plants, Biological Science Applications in Ag - Animals, Physical Science Applications in Ag 1 and 2, Supervised Agricultural Experience Program

Facilities include: A greenhouse, auto shop, wood shop, acreage for planting (work with FFA alumni)
