  Professional Development: CASE Scholarships & Grant Applications - Due Nov 15th

CASE Scholarship and Grant applications close Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

 

There's still time! Apply here for a PD Scholarship by November 15, 2022.

 

The basics:

  • PD Scholarships cover a portion of CASE PD costs.
  • Scholarships are $2,000 for a full-length CASE Institute and $300 for a BriefCASE.
  • Recipients will receive a code to use when registration opens on January 1, 2023 to reduce the costs by the scholarship amount awarded.
  • If you'll be in the classroom in the fall of 2023, you are eligible to apply.

 

To get your application ready, prep:

  • A letter of support from a program supporter (principal, CTE director, advisory council member) and their contact information
  • the CASE course you wish to become certified in
  • Impact information, including:
  • Need for scholarship on a scale of 1-10
  • Number of potential students impacted
  • 250 word or less narrative on the impact scholarship would have on students
  • 250 word or less narrative on the impact scholarship would have on you as the teacher, and your program, school, and/or community

IMPLEMENTATION GRANTS

 

There's still time! Apply here for an Implementation Grant by November 15, 2022.

The basics:

  • Implementation Grants from Corteva can be used to purchase supplies, equipment, textbooks, and software for CASE implementation in the following courses:
  • AFNR
  • ASP
  • APB
  • ESI
  • NRE
  • ARD
  • AgX Middle School

 

The get your application ready, prep:

  • a grant budget including the estimated cost of supplies, equipment, textbooks, and software for CASE implementation.
  • narrative (approximately 500 words) detailing the grant's potential impact on students, agricultural education program, school, teacher, and/or community; and
  • letter of support from a program supporter such as an administrator, local ag industry leader, advisory council member, or parent of a currently enrolled student indicating the commitment to the CASE initiative.
