I am pleased to share this announcement that Jennifer Waters has been selected and has accepted the position as the new Facilitating Coordination in Agricultural Education (FCAE) Local Program Support (LPS) coordinator beginning July 1, 2023.
Jennifer is currently the district 3 program advisor and joined FCAE on July 1. 2012. Jennifer assists 77 agricultural education programs and 96 teachers in west central Illinois. She helped start 15 new agricultural education programs and assisted in adding 17 additional teachers to existing programs. Jennifer's main focus has been in leading and coordinating professional learning events for our 519 agricultural educators across the state. Mrs. Waters was recently recognized as the 2022 National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) Eastern Region Outstanding Cooperation Award winner and the 2018 Perry Schneider Special Award winner for contributions in improving and expanding Illinois agricultural education.
