First and foremost, I would like to thank those of you who presented testimonies, I appreciate the time they took to share their perspective, not only is it greatly appreciated, but it will also be very valuable to all of us during the Town Hall on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, during the CREW meeting at 3:30 p.m.

Here are the guidelines that we plan to follow during the Town Hall:
Townhall expectations & structure:
-
All verbal testimonies will be allowed 3 minutes to present and answer questions. Verbal presenters will be cut off at 3 minutes, by Rachel Hood, State FFA President who is presiding over the Town Hall.
-
To ask a question to the presenter, you must submit your question to Jason Perry or Jacalyn Meisner, District FFA Board representatives in the chat. Then they will read your question to the presenters to be answered.
-
All participants are expected to abide by the Illinois FFA Event Expected Behavior Commitment to CARE Agreement throughout the Town Hall. Those failing to adhere to the CARE document guidelines will be removed from the Town Hall.
-
Following the Townhall, we will ask individuals on the zoom call to complete a straw poll vote of whether you are in favor of the motion or not. The motion simply stated in the Zoom poll is: Are you in favor of remaining sections to regions?
-
This vote is simply to gain an understanding of those attending the Town Hall's opinion on the matter. This vote WILL NOT serve as the deciding vote on the matter.
-
We will begin with a presenter on the affirming side of the topic and then move to a presenter in opposition.
What questions can I answer prior to the meeting? Again, thank you for your time and attention to this very important issue facing Illinois FFA.
And again, Happy National FFA Week!
Have a GRAND day!
