Dear Educators:
WIU's CFFA Chapter and Horticulture Club will be hosting an invitational Ag Mechanics and Horticulture contest on Tuesday April 4th, 2023. Please make sure your students bring the necessary PPE for Ag Mechanics and necessary tools for their practicums. Electrodes and Metal will be provided for welding, wood for carpentry, plus wires and electrical components for electricity. A miter saw will be provided for carpentry, no hand saws will be needed. An exam, plant id, and several judging rings will be used for the Horticulture contest. Due to the price increase in consumables, there is an increase in cost per team and per student.
