It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to pass along the news that Bud Aupperle,  a tremendous supporter and lifelong friend to Illinois FFA and agricultural education  passed away.  As a lifelong Ag Educator, Eldon R. “Bud” Aupperle was awarded the VIP Citation by the National FFA organization in recognition of his “significant contributions to FFA and Agricultural Education.”

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2023, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home and from 9:00 – 10:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2023. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the funeral home. Steve Sams will lead the service. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury, Illinois. Military Rites will be accorded by the Fairbury VFW. Memorials may be made to Black Hawk East Foundation or Illinois Association FFA.
