Mater Dei High School, located in Section 22, is seeking a full time agriculture teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. Courses taught will be determined by the strengths of the hired candidate and the high school needs. Agriculture department facilities include a classroom as well as a wood shop. Within the first year of the program there are approximately 31 students taking an agriculture education course and there is an expectation for more students in 2023-2024.
More information can be found at the school website. Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License or 60 college credits with 2,000 hours of Agriculture work experience. This position also includes serving as the chapter FFA Advisor.
