Illinois FFA Alumni Updates: 

Postpone Ranger Raffle to Convention 2021 - Due to the State FFA Convention being converted to a virtual format and due to the inability of FFA Chapters and Alumni Chapters to sell raffle tickets this year to due the Executive Order of the Governor of Illinois with the Stay at Home Order in place the 2020 Ranger Raffle ticket drawing is being postponed to 2021.  

The Illinois FFA Alumni Council discussed this decision at great length and with much deliberation, the Council decided in order for the Ranger Raffle to meet its’ intention of being a fundraiser for FFA Chapters throughout the state as well as the State Alumni Council to provide leadership scholarships to FFA members, it is best to postpone the drawing of the winning ticket to the 2021 Illinois FFA State Convention.  

Illinois FFA Alumni will send letters to those raffle ticket owners that we have addresses for - Click here to view the letter being sent to all Ranger Raffle ticket holders.  Alumni Council members will call the 52 Ranger Raffle ticket holders who we do not have addresses for.

Cancel WLC Scholarships - 

After much discussion and deliberation, the Illinois FFA Alumni Council decided to inform the 2020 WLC scholarship winners that the 2020 scholarship is null and void this year due to the cancellation of the WLC Conference by National FFA.  Illinois FFA Alumni Council will issue a certificate and a letter to those intended scholarship winners expressing our apologies and regrets in this situation.  

Cancel Camp Scholarships - Due to the timing of the State at Home Order and of judging Camp scholarship applications and since FFA Camp has been cancelled this year, no Camp Scholarships will be awarded this year from the Illinois FFA Alumni.
