Alex Morgan Memorial

Sporting Clays Tournament

Why:  Alex was an active FFA member, FFA officer, and enjoyed trap shooting. He was taken from us in January of 2016. The proceeds of this Sporting Clays Shoot will purchase supplies for the Trap Teams in his Honor.

When: Saturday, May 13, 2023

Where: Bi State Gun Club, Colona, 571 Cleveland Road, Colona, IL 61241

Times: Registration 8:15 - Safety seminar 8:45 - Contest at 9 a.m. Please fill out the Google Form to register your teams HERE.

Fees: $75 registration per team of 2 and $40 for individual

Details:

• Varsity and Junior Varsity Divisions

• School can have only 2 Varsity Teams, all others will be J. Varsity. If you don’t have enough for a team
  

• 12/20/28 gauge or 410 with 7 1/2 or 8 shot low brass (2¾) will be used

• All firearms will be racked when not in use

• All firearms will be open chamber until ready to be fired

• Any violation of proper safety will result in immediate DQ

• Teams will consist of 2 members

• Teams must provide own eye + ear protection, and ammunition

• MEAL will be provided. MEAL INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION*
  Awards:

• 1st + 2nd place team will receive a team plaque

  • Top shot will receive a trophy

  • In each division

  • Sportsman for the day will receive the Alex Morgan Memorial Sportsmanship Award.
