Description

Geneseo High School is located in Geneseo, Illinois, in Section 3, is seeking an Agricultural

Education Teacher/FFA Advisor for the Fall of 2023.

The Geneseo Ag Department has an Ag Mechanics shop,  greenhouses, and a 4-acre FFA test plot. Current courses to be taught (although, flexible based on candidates) Ag Business Management, Landscape Management, BSAA, Intro to Ag, and Greenhouse Production. Geneseo High School is 1 to 1 with Chromebooks. The Agriculture Department does have a Clever Touch board and Ag Office Space. Agriculture is very important in our community.  Our new teacher would have tremendous community support. 

Candidates must have an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Career and Technical Education Educator License with Stipulations (ELS).   Salary (year one, BA +0) is $42,000.   More information at District website
