CONVENTION TIP of the DAY for Friday, May 26, 2023 - Delegate Information

Were you wondering at 7:01 a.m. this morning, “Where is my CONVENTION TIP of the DAY ?”  In celebration of this being the last week of school for many of our schools, we decided to let you “sleep in” today.  

There’s lots of great information in today’s TIP, especially for delegates.  

• Click here to view the list of schools that have already submitted your delegate names - thanks for being on top of things!  I will keep updating this list, so if you don’t see your chapter listed, complete the Delegate registration form and check back later in the day or the next day and see if your chapter is listed.  Delegate registration must be completed by May 30, 2023, to reserve their free convention t-shirt for serving as a delegate.  Please click here for the Delegate registration form. 

• This year, we are using Election Buddy, a new electronic voting system, we are testing it on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. for the Business Session.  If all things work well, we will then use it at the 95th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention Business Session and Elections.  

• Later today, agriculture teachers/FFA advisors will receive an email with the meeting page link for Election Buddy, as well as two access codes and passwords to share with your delegates for the Business Session on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 3:30 p.m.  

• When you arrive at the 95th Annual Illinois FFA State Convention, you will receive printed copies of the meeting page link with the access codes and passwords on them to give to your delegates for elections in your chapter packet at registration.
