  New Teaching Vacancy - Alton High School

Alton Community High School, located in District 3 and Section 15, seeks a high school agriculture education instructor and FFA advisor. Alton’s program includes 60 students and FFA members.

Courses in the Agriculture Education department include Basic Agriculture Science (Introduction), Agriculture Mechanics and Technology, Horticulture, Agriculture Business, and Basic Auto.

Salary and benefits are per negotiated contract. This school does not participate in the Three Circle Grant.

Candidates should have a Professional Educator License with an endorsement in Agriculture Education.  Candidates without endorsement may be considered; assistance in obtaining a Career and Technical Education endorsement requires 2000 hours of experience. An additional endorsement in Industrial Arts is preferred.
