Obituary for Sara Strache, Minooka FFA Advisor

It is with a very heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Sara Strache, the Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor at Minooka High School in Section 7. Sara passed away on Saturday August 5 after a very hard-fought battle with cancer.
Sara grew up in Joliet, attended Illinois State, and taught Horticulture for 7 years at Chicago High School for Ag Sciences before working another four years at Lincoln Way High School. For the next 22 years she taught at Minooka High School.
A visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church 508 N Cedar Rd New Lenox, IL on Tuesday August 8th from 9:00am until time of service at 11am. Interment will follow funeral luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Tinley Park, IL 2:30pm.
