Conduct of Chapter Meetings Rubric - Update
There was an issue with the Conduct of Chapter Meetings Rules/Scoresheet that was brought up last week. In October, CDE Committee and FFA Board voted to update point values to reflect National FFA changes with the contest. It was mentioned last week that the National FFA rubric, which we did not change, made exam scores count only towards the team total, not individual total. This was not a part of initial discussion, and so CDE Committee and FFA Board have now voted to update to the National FFA COCM Rubric, but keep the exam score as a part of the individual scores.
This will not affect the format of the contest, just the rubric and point values. The values were updated in October, but the rubric format has now been changed to mirror National FFA's, with the exception of the exam score change. These changes are posted on ILAgEd.org, updated in the Section Chair's Meeting Minutes, and attached below.
