PD Specialist
ROE SchoolWorks is the professional development and school improvement department for two ROE's in Central Illinois: the Champaign-Ford Regional Office of Education #9 and the Vermilion County Regional Office of Education #54. In operation since 1995, ROE SchoolWorks prides itself in providing up to date, affordable, and quality professional development to our schools. SchoolWorks Capacity Builders provide on-site district trainings as well as regional trainings. SchoolWorks also offers resources to schools, information regarding new legislation, and much more.
Typical Responsibilities: The PD Specialist for ROE SchoolWorks will support districts from Champaign, Ford and Vermilion Counties in evidence-based, best instructional practices through presentation, facilitation, and coaching. The position will also coordinate implementation of the delivery plan for the IL CTE State Leadership Grant.
Travel: The Champaign-Ford Regional Office of Education #09 and the Vermilion County Regional Office of Education #54 will serve as the primary locations for this position; however, the job does require time in other areas of the state on a limited basis for conferences or collaboration with other professional development providers across the state.
Compensation: The salary has a range between $55,000 and $60,000 based upon relevant experience and qualifications.
