The IAVAT Board of Directors met this week and is proposing the following amendment to the IAVAT Constitution to be voted on at this summer's conference:
Remove Section 10 "The Board of Directors shall require bond for the Secretary/Treasurer."
Reason - This was originally included when the Treasurer was included as a signatory on IAVAT bank accounts. All bank accounts are now managed by Illinois FFA Center staff, which are already bonded. The Secretary/Treasurer bond is no longer required since they are no longer signatories on IAVAT accounts.
