SIU College of Agricultural Sciences would like to thank the 41 schools and 197 students that participated in the SIU Virtual Horse Judging CDE.  We were very happy with the contest and had an amazing turnout with chapters from all over the state participating this year!

Congratulations to our Varsity Team winner - Unity and  Junior Varsity Division winner – Mount Vernon.

The attached report contains the top 10 teams (Varsity and JV) and top 20 individual scores (Varsity and JV).  Scores can be checked on judgingcard.com.

In addition, we would like to say thank you to Stephanie Speiser for her hard work in putting the contest together and organizing the filming of the classes of horses.  Also, a thank you to Samantha Wuest, the SIU Equine Center Manager, for her help in coordination and work with the horses.  Their hard work is greatly appreciated.  We also appreciate those individuals that brought horses for the contest, and our official judge, Casey Parr.

Last but not least – thank you to all of our FFA students and staff that helped make this event a success!
