Letters of support needed for Dan Hoge!
The highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual who has made a significant impact and outstanding contributions to the livestock industry is to have their portrait hung in the Saddle and Sirloin Club Portrait Gallery. Established in 1903 at the Chicago Union Stock Yard, the gallery serves as the livestock industry’s “Hall of Fame” and is now housed at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville. Every November during the North American International Livestock Exposition, a new portrait honoring a person for their outstanding contributions is added to this collection.
If you would like to support Dan's nomination, you may focus your letter on one or several of the points below.
• Describe the impact Dan Hoge has had on your life and career
• What word or words would you use to describe Dan Hoge?
• What is the main reason you think Dan Hoge should be inducted?
• What sets Dan Hoge apart from other leaders in the livestock industry? How is he unique?
•Describe how Dan Hoge has made truly significant and outstanding contributions to the livestock industry?
Please email me any letters if you choose to write one at bloombergb@bhc.edu
