Shawnee High School has a full time agriculture teacher vacancy for the 2025-2026 school year. The school is located in Union County in Wolf Lake about 30 minutes north of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Potential course offerings include: Introduction to Ag, Natural Resources, Ag Mech I and II, Intro to Horticulture, Ag Business, Food Science, Animal Science or Basic Ag Science. Facilities include: classroom, mechanics lab, and greenhouse. The current contract is a 10 month contract (9 months teaching and 1 month for FFA sponsor). Start date is August 13, 2025. Salary BS &0 years =$36,108 through MS+16; 35 years = $72,893. Partial paid single health insurance and 100% paid TRS. Board paid $10,000 life insurance policy. Paid sick, personal and bereavement days.
