I.   SIU VIRTUAL AGRONOMY CDE 

   1.  Registration: Deadline: Tuesday November 17th

   2.  EVENT DATE: Wednesday November 18th, 2020

         You may select only one session for your school.

   4.  Cost:   $2 for every member that participates -5 members per team top three used for team score.

   5.  Divisions:  Varsity, Junior Varsity, and as many Practice members as you wish

   6.  Rings:  Insect ID, Crop ID, Weed ID, Machinery ID, Written Exam, Corn Judging ring, and

        A soybean Judging ring.  Our event will be very similar to the Illinois FFA Agronomy CDE,

        Except we will use insect practicum rather than soils.

   7.  Format:  This is a virtual event, and therefore each advisor will be responsible for

        supervising their students.  Each ring will have a file within a folder.  The link to the folder  will

       be  emailed to you and your students. The Scantron used in our event will be the same one used in

       the Illinois FFA Agronomy CDE.  We would suggest that you have students print out the scantron

       and put their answers on it in the event the electronic version is somehow lost or

        erased. The ID rings will be power points.   The pictures of weed and crops will be of

        seeds, mature, or seedling plants The exam will be a pdf.  If photos of plants are

        used a mature plant and seedling picture will be presented on the same slide.  If your

        Section decides to use our event for your Section Agronomy CDE, we can create reports

        within judgingcard.com.
