Greetings ILCAE and ICAE members!
I learned last night during a Cook County Ag In The Classroom Advisory Committee meeting that Junior Achievement Chicago is looking for people who work in the AFNR industry to provide short clips explaining your jobs for students in their career exploration program to learn about what you do.
It's very easy to do from a computer with a webcam, or you can download an app if you wish to use your smart phone or tablet.
If you speak Spanish, they would especially appreciate if you would record a second video in Spanish saying what you said in the first video.
You can watch the videos that have been submitted so far here.
Find the instructions attached. They need the videos to be submitted online by December 30, and please be sure you indicate agriculture within your "career title" line (example: agriculture lending rather than just "lending") if appropriate. Be sure to share this around to a diverse range of careers within your organization if you can- we want to showcase as many AFNR careers as we can!
