With the guidance of Jason Mott, Illinois State Board of Education Agricultural Education Principal Consultant, I would like to share that the Ag Incentive Funding Quality Indicators application is available. This application is due by May 15, 2025 at the end of the day (11:59 p.m.).
Approved Agricultural Education Programs must complete the application highlighting the quality indicators achieved by the agricultural education program from April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. Based on these indicators, programs are rewarded annual funding allocations through the Incentive Funding Grant program. To earn points for each category, you must meet the minimum standards set for that area. Failure to accurately complete this form before the end of the day on May 15, 2025 may result in a loss of funding in fiscal year 2026.
The application is completed at the link below, not in IWAS. The budgets will be completed in IWAS after allocations are uploaded, based on the information gained from the application. Districts will be notified when allocations have been made.
