On behalf of Jason Mott, ISBE Agricultural Education Principal Consultant, I would like to share the following message with you.
Any school district that still requires a change in the FY25 3 Circles Grant IWAS Budget allocation must contact their regional FCAE Program Advisor by Thursday, April 17th with any changes.
I know that this message will not apply to most districts.
This message would apply in the following circumstances:
1. When the district applied last year an allocation that was too high was requested because the district was still hiring or in negotiations AND the district has not reported the correct numbers to update the allocation. This would result in sending funds back to ISBE if the needed changes are not made now.
2. The funds requested last year when applying were inadequate to cover the allocation needed for the ag teacher AND this has not been reported for an increase on the current budget in IWAS. This would result in the teacher receiving a payment less than what the allocation should be.
