1.  2025 Illinois FFA National Chapter Award Results

All Bronze, Silver, and Gold winning chapters, as well as the Section winners in Building Communities, Growing Leaders, and Strengthening Agriculture Section winners, will be recognized on stage at the 97th Illinois FFA State Convention on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, see times below.  The Section Premier Chapter Winners and National Finalists will be recognized on stage at the 97th Illinois FFA State Convention during the 5th and final session on Thursday, June 12, 2025.  

• 1st Session, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 1:00 p.m. - Growing Leaders Section Winners and State winners announced near the beginning of the session

• 1st Session, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 1:00 p.m. - Building Communities Section Winners and State winners are announced near the end of the session.  

• 2nd Session, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6:30 p.m. - Strengthening Agriculture Section Winners and State winners announced near the beginning of the session.  

• 2nd Session, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6:30 p.m. - Bronze, Silver, and Gold winning chapters recognized near the end of the session.  

• 5th Session, Thursday, June 12, 2025, 1:00 p.m. - Premier Chapter Section Winners and National Finalists recognized and State winner announced, mid-session.

3.  Message from Tammy Yard

The FFA membership deadline has been extended to this Friday, May 9, 2025. I reviewed the pending memberships last week. The majority of those that are pending are missing the C.A.R.E. document signed by the student. Please encourage the students to complete that step in order for you to submit their membership to the state, so that I can approve it at National FFA.

Please keep in mind that in a year or two if the student decides they want to apply for the state degree, a scholarship, the American Degree, etc. they will NOT have the 2024-2025 year in their membership history. And at this time, there will not be a way for me to add that membership year since they did not sign the C.A.R.E document. It only takes a few minutes for the student to watch the video, read the document, and sign it.

In the event you need a refresher on how to get them started, please click here. If you have any questions, please let me know. We need to get all of those students that truly are members of the FFA organization on your FFA roster. I would hate to see any of them not be eligible for an award or scholarship in the future because they did not complete the C.A.R.E. document this year. Please let me know if you have any questions. Illinois Farm Bureau would like to thank everyone who participated in the Harvest for All program this year. With all of the FFA Chapters combined, they raised a total of 204,541.37 pounds of food, 7,362.75 hours volunteered, and $53,466.42!  Thank you for serving those in your community who need it most.

Here are the Contest Rules - Rules

The Illinois FFA Quiz Bowl Competition will start at 10:00 am in the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel (701 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701), directly next to the Bank of Springfield Center. Students will be competing on the 2nd Floor in the Governor Yates room and will be held in Freeport A, B, and C.  We ask that everyone arrive prior to 10 am, so there will not be any delays.  After your students compete, we ask they return to and stay in the holding room, where we will also be posting results until they compete again.  This will allow us to continue smoothly and stay on time.  Here is a Map of the President Abe Hotel - Hotel Room Maps
