
Engaging Students in the Science and Engineering of Food

5.5 PDCH hours available
Participants will engage in numerous activities that are part of a unit storyline on producing the perfect apple. In this whole day workshop, teachers will think like students as they engage in various routines such as asking questions, planning investigations, and using models to explain in order to make sense of why it took 30 years for the Honeycrisp apple to be available to consumers.
