Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor Position – PORTA High School
PORTA High School in Menard County (Section 14) is looking for a high school agriculture teacher and FFA advisor to lead the agricultural education program.
Qualifications (must meet one of the following):

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Secondary Level endorsement in Agricultural Education

OR 60+ college credit hours from a regionally accredited institution + 2,000 hours of work experience in agriculture

OR 8,000+ hours of work experience in agriculture
About the Position:
This position includes teaching and FFA advising responsibilities. It may qualify for Three Circle Grant compensation.

Additional rotating courses:
Facilities include a greenhouse (added in 2021) and a large welding shop.
