Anna Jonesboro CHSD #81, in Anna (Section 24), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Agriculture Education Teacher and FFA Advisor for the 2021-22 school year. The newly hired individual will be replacing Mr. Eric Emmons as he retires after a very successful teaching career.
Facilities include a classroom and shop. Within the agriculture department there are currently 107 students taking an agriculture education course and 40 are FFA members. Current courses offered, but are able to be adapted due to strengths of hired individual, include Ag Mechanics and Technology, Basic Ag Mechanics, Intro to Agriculture Industry & Natural Resources Conservation and Management.
Candidates should have a valid Illinois Teacher License. Candidates will be paid based on the collective bargaining agreement. This position also can include an FFA stipend/ Three Circles Grant.
