
Waterloo High School is located just south of St. Louis in Monroe County and Section 22 will be hiring a co-ag teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The new teacher will be working with Ms. Elaine Rudolphi. Overall, department course offerings include Veterinary Technology, Biotechnology, BSAA, Horticulture, Introduction to Agriculture, Agricultural Business Management, Agricultural Mechanics, Introduction to Agricultural Engineering, and Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences.
The successful candidate will work with Ms. Rudolphi and administration to determine final teaching assignments. WHS has approximately 900 students with nearly 200 enrolled in agriculture courses.
Facilities include 2 classrooms, a computer/design lab, an ag mechanics and engineering lab, a greenhouse, an agriscience lab, and a landscaping area. The Waterloo FFA Chapter is well established and has enjoyed success at both the chapter and individual member levels.
Salary and benefits are determined by the local collective bargaining agreement. Salary is $43,250 (2025-2026 school year - first step of 9 months & 0 years experience) plus TRS.
The position includes an extended contract and 3 Circle Grant eligible, dependent upon grant funding. Very supportive administration, community, and FFA Alumni.
