It is with a very heavy heart that I am sharing with you the passing of retired agriculture teacher, FFA advisor, and cherished member of our Illinois agriculture education family, Mr. Joe Hammond.

Mr. Hammond was a proud FFA member at Macomb High School around 1976. He went on to serve as an FFA advisor at VIT, Warsaw, and Illinois Valley High School, dedicating many years to guiding and inspiring countless students. He was a farmer and a mentor whose influence extended deeply throughout our community.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to all of the family, friends, loved ones, and the many lives he touched over the years.
