Cissna Park Junior High/ High School, located in Iroquois County, Section 10, has a full-time opening for the 2025-26 school year for an Agricultural Education teacher and Co-FFA advisor. Cissna Park has a strong tradition of FFA and a strong agriculture program. The program has a strong High School and Junior High participation rate with a very supportive administration. The successful candidate will join Mr. Jeff Clifton in our Agricultural Department.
The courses currently include 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Ag, Farm to Fork, and Horticulture. Program includes an Food Lab, Greenhouse, Community Garden, and Ag Mechanics Shop. Cissna Park has an active and supportive alumni with events like Annual Alumni Auction and Fundraisers.
Qualifications
Current and valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Career and Technical Education Educator License with Stipulations (ELS); 6-12 certification preferred, but not required
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits per the collective bargaining agreement. The district currently offers a 12-month extended contract as the school district participates in the Three Circle FFA and SAE grant.
