The Illinois Leadership Council for Agricultural Education (ILCAE), is pleased to honor exceptional individuals who put forth extra effort in support of your programs and quality agricultural education in the state of Illinois. We know you have people in your communities who are deserving of this recognition and would like to encourage you to nominate them using the application linked below.
Nominations are open through September 30th. Winners will be notified this fall and recognized at the annual awards banquet in December.

ILCAE Advocacy Award
About: The purpose of the award is to recognize individuals for their advocacy, efforts, dedication and support for quality education programs in and about agriculture, K-Adult.
Eligibility: All elementary, secondary, and post secondary personnel responsible for
the administration of agriculture education programs which includes Ag in the Classroom, K-8 schools, high schools, community colleges, universities, and any other related agriculture education programs can be nominated. School superintendents, principals, school board members, advisory council members, Illinois Farm Bureau managers, Illinois Extension unit leaders, and related agriculture program administrators are eligible. K-16 teachers and instructors are not eligible.
Nominations: Five individuals (one per FFA District) are selected. Nominations are taken from the public & ILCAE members through the application link. Nominations open in July and close on September 30th.
Evaluation: The ILCAE Awards Committee will review applications in October. Winners will be notified in October/November and recognized at the annual awards ceremony hosted in December of each year.
