Highlights of New Information:

Our overnight room block at the Sheraton is now completely sold out and the hotel does not have additional rooms to add to the block. Overflow room blocks have been setup at the DoubleTree ($123) across the street and the Hyatt ($115) down the road.

IAVAT Conference Supplemental Materials are now available. This folder includes committee, university, and affiliate reports along with financial documents that are made electronically available to membership, but will not be printed as part of the conference program.

A tentative conference agenda has been posted.

Donations are requested for silent auction, door prizes, and Sip & Snack auction.

New this year, available on IAVAT Conference registration, IAVAT has established a partnership with Illinois Science Teaching Association (ISTA) for discounted joint membership. IAVAT members can now join ISTA at a discounted rate of $25.

Any member wishing to submit a resolution to be considered during IAVAT Conference must submit via this form by Tuesday of Conference at 5:30pm.

Affiliate Update:

Good morning IAVAT members,

As an affiliate of IACTE, the IAVAT can have members serve on committees to speak on behalf of our organization.  The IACTE is in the process of organizing for the 23-24 year and with that process, now is the time to step onto committees.  Please see the link to see current committees. In order to serve on a committee, you must be a member of IACTE.  We would love to see our members take a step to serve our affiliated CTE organization if that is their desire.  Please email Donna Page (dpage@rths212.org) by May 30th with the IACTE committee you would like to serve on if you are interested.  Also, please let us know if you have any questions.
