
Quincy Junior High School, located in Adams County in Section 11, is seeking a Middle School Ag Teacher for grades 6-8 for the 2022-23 school year.
The program started during the 2021-2022 school year and had 147 students and 125 FFA members. They have a standalone FFA Chapter but fully cooperate and work with the Quincy High School Ag Program. Currently Exploratory Agriculture is taught to both 7th and 8th grade students in quarter rotations. Facilities include a separate classroom at Quincy Jr. High School.
Candidates should hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations-CTE (ELS-CTE) with the proper credentials to teach middle school students.
Salary is based on the contract of the school district. The teacher will be eligible for the 3 Circles Grant.
